Come learn more about us at https://flexhigh.org/Cleveland How You WIll Make an Impact The Academic Support Staff (Math) will work in a personalized instructional environment to work with students and parents and support students' academic plans and growth. The support staff will use data to work with students who demonstrate academic need based on student testing data. They will work with students in support of all staff. This position reports to the Principal or designee. RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is intended to accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of the position. Plan, organize, and implement daily lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum and the teaching staff Conduct pre-testing and post-testing using standardized tests for each student As a part of a team, implement goals as outlined in each student's IEP (as applicable) Responsible for managing a student’s behavior
  • Demonstrate competency in all subject areas Work with students on intervention programs such as MATH 180 Assist with STAR testing and data results Participate in IMTSS and PBIS team support meetings Provide direct student instruction Provide academic assessments Attend IEP meetings as requested Meet timeline requirements as specified by the education code Provide direct services to students that are supportive of the teaching staff Provide consultation and assistance to general education teachers for planning, making adaptations, and accommodations for students Work with Math Teacher / Specialists and school support staff to support student instruction Participate in authorized school district trainings, school events, and meetings Maintain documentation of communications with students, families, and other service providers. Maintain documentation of daily activities. Complete reports and forms as required Perform administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned, which may be changed or modified from time to time. Requirements
