About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Childcare Teacher – Full-Time Support to join our early childhood education team. This role provides support throughout the center by assisting teaching staff, helping maintain classroom routines, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with young children, adapts well to changing needs, and is passionate about supporting high-quality early learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and transitions.
• Provide classroom assistance to help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, and rest periods.
• Assist with preparing classroom materials and organizing learning spaces.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Provide classroom coverage and assistance as needed throughout the day.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments.
• Collaborate with teachers and leadership to support daily center operations.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to support different classroom needs.
• Patient, positive, and attentive when working with children.
• Preferred Skills

Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or early learning environment. Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning. Ability to support classroom routines and transitions. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
