The Grades 3–5 Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering rigorous, standards-based instruction while creating a positive classroom culture that promotes academic excellence, character development, and student engagement. Teachers use data-driven instructional practices to support scholar growth and work collaboratively with colleagues, instructional leaders, and families to ensure student success. Essential Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core academic subjects. Differentiate instruction to meet the academic and developmental needs of diverse learners. Analyze assessment data to inform instruction and accelerate student achievement. Establish and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that supports high expectations and scholar success. Implement effective classroom management strategies that maximize instructional time. Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication regarding scholar progress. Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and school leadership to improve instructional practices. Maintain accurate student records, attendance, grades, and required documentation. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, school events, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; or Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate; or Minimum of three (3) years of successful K–12 teaching experience. Additional Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Strong instructional planning, classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
Arizona Elementary Education Certification. Experience teaching Grades 3–5. Experience implementing data-driven instruction and progress monitoring. Experience working in a high-performing charter school or similarly rigorous educational setting.
