Responsibilities include: Provide itinerant vision-related educational services to students with visual impairments or blindness Deliver individualized instruction, including Braille and orientation & mobility support Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and classroom environments to ensure accessibility Develop accommodations and specialized learning materials based on student needs Participate as an active member of the IEP team, including writing goals and monitoring progress Plan and implement lessons tailored to students’ visual and educational needs Maintain accurate documentation and submit required reports Assist with acquiring and implementing adaptive equipment and accessible materials Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student inclusion and success What We’re Looking For Certification as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments required Experience working with students with blindness or visual impairments preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs Commitment to creating accessible and inclusive educational environments

Requirements
