Gianna Early Childhood Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Aide to join our team.
Our center provides care for children 6 weeks - 5 years old.
Our early childhood care program serves students from 6:00 am - 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, year round.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.
As a Early Childhood Aide, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students.
Your creativity and enthusiasm will help shape the educational experiences of our preschoolers.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Supervise and engage in learning activities with our students under the direction of the lead teacher. Assist in preparation of materials and directing activities. Assists in food preparation, serving meals and/or refreshments and cleaning. Assist in care for students' individual needs and maintain discipline. Assist classroom activities effectively, ensuring all children are engaged and participating. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Assist in classroom organization and cleanliness to provide a conducive learning environment. Instill a love for Christ, and weave Catholic teachings into daily activities. Knowledge and ability to change diapers and help with potty training.
Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children, including those with special education needs. Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
