Assistant Teachers support Lead Teachers in implementing hands-on learning activities and managing daily classroom routines. They are responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

The Learning Experience of Astoria is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring Assistant Teachers to join our team. Whether you're supporting our infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive every day.

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside our Lead Teachers to help create meaningful learning experiences while ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and loved.
Help implement fun, hands-on activities that encourage learning through play.
Support children's social, emotional, language, and cognitive development.
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, meals, and daily care.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
