Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), you’ll support licensed SLPs in delivering exceptional care and communication therapy to children and adults across a variety of educational and therapeutic settings on our unique TERI Learning Academy.

You’ll work closely with clients to implement therapy plans, track progress, and help individuals build the communication skills they need to thrive.   • Your Role & Responsibilities –
  • Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct treatment assistance to clients under supervision
  • Document client progress accurately and promptly
  • Assist with therapy materials, session planning, and administrative duties
  • Collaborate with team members, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff to support client goals
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards
  • Foster a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients

Qualifications

  • –
  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
  • Valid California SLPA license required
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset

Salary –

$34–$36 per hour, based on experience
