At our Early Learning Center, you’ll have the opportunity to create a positive work experience, inspired by

This position is a salaried teacher position aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including closing for summer break. Instructional hours are expected to be 8am to 1pm, with additional prep time before and after instruction, likely 7:30am to 2pm. Because the position is funded through the state, this position
  • REQUIRES some qualifications from you, including:
  • Any one of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state-approved ARL in Early Childhood Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits Already enrolled in the TEACH program for an early childhood-related degree
  • You will have the opportunity to focus on children by: planning and leading academic and social-emotional activities in a 10:1 class, and engaging with student families. You’ll get support from a full and engaged admin team, including directors that don’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves or to address incidents and behavior with parents.

  • Teacher with our early learning centers: Prepare supplies and materials for lessons and exercises. Manage student portfolios. Maintain the safety of our children and staff, and ensure an optimal experience for all. QualificationsWe have great directors and a program quality team that can teach you skills on the job, but there are some actions and goals that will make you more successful as a Teacher with the Early Learning Centers. You know that quality early childcare is necessary for a strong community and are dedicated to early childhood education. You want to bring positivity every day to every staff member, knowing how stressful and challenging child care is. You believe that uniqueness should be celebrated and support including all persons, regardless of background or beliefs. You respect your team and communicate when you are experiencing difficulty meeting responsibilities. Experience with MS Word, and Brightwheel are also preferred. As part of our commitment to child and member safety, there are some additional steps that all hires will be asked to complete. You will need to provide 3 references. These references must be professional references. You will also be asked to complete a drug screen (which only includes drugs illegal in the state of Nevada), background check, and fingerprint check. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent state-approved qualification. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting, and provide three professional references.
