Our age-appropriate curriculum is designed to develop fundamental soccer skills while also supporting confidence, teamwork, communication, coordination, and character development.
In addition to soccer programming, Soccer Stars offers multisport and non-contact martial arts programs.
We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic, and professional coaches who are committed to youth development and capable of delivering a consistently positive experience for children and families.

Current hiring needs: Monday - Friday : 9:00 AM–12:00 PM Monday - Friday : 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday : 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Sunday : 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Key Responsibilities The Youth Soccer Coach will be responsible for: Arriving on time and prepared for each assigned session Delivering structured, energetic, and age-appropriate soccer instruction Following the Soccer Stars curriculum and Coaching Manual Creating a safe, inclusive, and non-competitive learning environment Providing individualized attention and encouragement Using positive reinforcement to support participation and skill development Helping children build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship Maintaining professional communication with parents, teachers, site staff, and team members Participating in regular training and coaching evaluations Responding positively to feedback and continuously improving instructional performance Representing Soccer Stars professionally at all partner locations Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver’s license Reliable personal transportation Willingness to travel to schools, parks, community centers, and other program locations throughout Long Island Ability to successfully complete a background check Consistent reliability and punctuality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for sports, fitness, youth development, and working with young children, particularly children ages 1–5 Candidates who are willing and able to travel to a broader range of locations may receive additional coaching assignments.
Preferred Experience Experience or education in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Youth soccer or sports coaching Athletics Physical education Exercise science Kinesiology Fitness instruction Dance Cheerleading Gymnastics Martial arts Camp counseling Early childhood education Elementary education Substitute teaching Childcare or youth programming Prior coaching experience is helpful but not required.
