The Tai Chi Instructor is responsible for teaching Tai Chi classes in a professional and safe manner to the members and guests of the Center. Essential
1. Teach Tai Chi classes as scheduled, providing a welcoming and safe environment for the group. 2. Demonstrate proper Tai Chi methods to use with participants in class. 3. Maintain industry certification in good standing and meet continuing education requirements. 4. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively teach and interact with clients. 5. Contribute to the marketing efforts of the center and meditation classes both within the center and the community. 6. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities. 7. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members. 8. Other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, Tai Chi instructor training, and at least 2 years of group teaching experience. CPR/AED certification is required within 90 days of hire, and an NCCA accredited certification is preferred.
