Opportunity: West Liberty University is seeking applications for a 9-month, full time, tenured track, Social Work Faculty in College of Liberal and Creative Arts. The position will have release time for the responsibilities as the Field Education Coordinator for the Social Work Program (BSW). This position reports to the Social Work Program Chair.
Participate in activities related to student recruitment and retention and student advisement. The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach courses within the BSW program. Candidates should have a commitment to excellent teaching, professional development, and service, including participation in student advising, recruitment and retention activities. The Field Education Coordinator responsibilities include the educational and administrative direction of field education in compliance with CSWE accreditation standards, including coordinating internships, cultivating new field sites, and developing field assessment practices. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and proficiency with online teaching and learning platforms
A terminal degree in Social Work, or a closely related field is preferred A MSW from a CSWE accredited Social Work Program and a minimum of two years of post MSW practice is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

A faculty member is expected to participate in continuous improvement in the areas of teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
