Role Responsibilities: Lead/Teach approximately 20 children 4-5 years of age with a co-teacher.

Curriculum®, in our Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
Conduct Parent/Teacher conferences.
Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
2 plus years of professional preschool teaching experience preferred. At least one year of professional teaching experience required. DCF 45 (Required) High school diploma/GED required Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) CPR and First Aid certification required Must meet state specific guidelines for the role Must have Florida VPK Emergent Literacy Certifications (Required) Strongly Preferred: CDA, Florida Staff Credential, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field At least 1–2 years of successful VPK, Pre-K, or preschool classroom experience Previous experience with VPK assessments and kindergarten-readiness instruction Experience conducting parent-teacher conferences and documenting student progress
