Jim Dooley Early Learning Center is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Per Diem Teachers to support our after-school program. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for a flexible afternoon schedule.
Under the guidance of the Director of Child Care, Lead Teacher, or Infant Program Coordinator, you will:
Provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children during after-school hours.
Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, indoor and outdoor play, and transitions.
Support age-appropriate learning experiences and enrichment activities.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety.
Follow New York State childcare regulations, accreditation standards, and Center policies.
Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide quality care and education.
• One year of experience working with children in a childcare, school, camp, or similar setting.
$17.24 per hour
