The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing educational and fitness-minded lesson plans for children aged 3 to 5. They must maintain a safe environment and communicate progress and development to parents.
The Preschool Teacher will provide best in class, educational/fitness minded instruction for children ages 3 to 5 years old. They will create a fun and safe environment for participants taking part in preschool age camps and youth programming. Job
Constructs and implements weekly/monthly educational/fitness lesson plans. Prepares and sets up for classes and camps. Engages preschool age children in educational/fitness activities. Communicates needed information with parents on child’s progress and development. Cleans and maintains a safe space for all participants. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of a wide variety of children. Position Requirements A degree in either Early Childhood Education or related discipline At least one year of prior experience in a childcare/school setting teaching children ages 3 to 5. First Aid certification, Adult, Infant & Child CPR required within the first 60 days of hire. Completion of Life Time Summer Camp Counselor Certification prior to camp season. Completion of all Kids On-Demand required learnings prior to first day of work. Preferred Requirements Ability to stand, walk; use hands, objects, tools or controls; reach with hand and arms.
