Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Columbia, SC. You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and newer SLPs
What You’ll Do Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
What We’re Looking For Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain) South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain) Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, not required
