Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Preschool Special Education Teacher to support students in Charleston, SC. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You’ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team.
What You’ll Do Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
Valid South Carolina state teaching license in area of Special Education OR Early Childhood Education Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
