School Nurse (RN or LPN) – 1:1 Position | Part-time | Preschool/Kindergarten | Summer 2026 | 2026-2027 School Year | Seattle, WA Hello RNs and LPNs! Ampersand Therapy, a local, women- and therapist-founded company, is hiring for a 1:1 school nurse position for the 2026 summer and 2026-2027 school year! Summer Schedule Program Dates: July 7, 2026 – July 30, 2026 Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday School Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Expected Nursing Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM to accommodate transportation needs School-Year Schedule (2026–2027) Continued nursing services will be needed during the student's kindergarten year. Specific schedule and hours to be determined based on school placement and transportation requirements. Essential Responsibilities Provide continuous one-on-one nursing care throughout the school day and during transportation, as needed. Monitor and manage the student's tracheostomy and ventilator. Perform routine respiratory assessments and interventions. Respond appropriately to medical needs and emergencies. Collaborate with school personnel, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety and participation in educational activities. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing services and interventions. Support the student's inclusion in classroom and school activities.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State RN or LPN license Pediatric or school nursing experience is highly preferred G-tube experience is required Experience working with patients with seizure disorder is required Benefits & Perks: Paid Sick Leave Healthcare Benefits
