College Tutors of Edina, MN, Austin, TX, and Seattle, WA is seeking role model homework help tutors for 6th-10th grade students for the 2026/27 school year! This position provides you with the opportunity to mentor and tutor several students throughout the week and develop tutoring and teaching skills while making a difference! + You set your schedule (5-10 hours per week) within the hours of 3-9pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-9pm on Saturdays and Sundays + The start date is late August / early September, and we are seeking tutors who can work the entire school year.
Assist students with homework in math (through algebra 2), reading/writing, general homework help and organizational skills. Check grades and school portals with students to keep them on track. Act as a role model and mentor to students that you tutor towards academic success.
Ability to tutor most middle school and early high school subject areas: math (algebra 1, geometry or algebra 2), science (physical science or higher), reading/writing, and history. Minimum GPA of 3.5. Good study habits and organizational skills as evidenced by college transcripts Previous tutoring experience is ideal but not required! It is not required that you are a current college student for our tutoring positions. Able to work effectively in a virtual environment and have access to a clean, professional background for virtual sessions. Pay starts at $22 and hour for virtual sessions.
