Overview Puzzle Box Academy and Kaleidoscope Interventions are seeking a Teacher Aide to support classroom learning and student growth.
Founded in 2014, Puzzle Box Academy serves students who benefit from explicit instruction in the foundation skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. With a “students first” philosophy, we use the individualized learning methods not found anywhere else!
We are looking for positive, energetic, and dependable Teacher Aide who enjoys working with preschool-aged children and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role provides the opportunity to learn alongside experienced educators and offers room for career growth within our expanding organization.
Support teachers with daily classroom duties and specialized tasks. Assist in maintaining student engagement, behavior, and safety. Create a positive, structured environment tailored to students’ maturity and interests. Provide adapted instruction in small groups or individually to meet learning goals. Encourage students through consistent, positive feedback. Escort and transition children safely between activities. Maintain active supervision to protect students, equipment, and materials. Observe and report any signs of abuse or neglect to administration. Assist with classroom setup, organization, and equipment maintenance. Help monitor students to keep them on task. Complete 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) each school year. Learn and implement Precision Teaching techniques as outlined in our academic program. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience working with preschool-aged children. High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. Valid First Aid/CPR certification. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and growth. Must have DCF 45-hour certification.
