Assist the Head Coach in the supervision and coaching of the Men's Wrestling Team. Support student-athletes in achieving academic success and assist in the recruitment of prospective athletes.
Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual exempt Assistant Men’s Wrestling Coach position to begin in August 2026. The starting Base Annual Salary is approximately $44,948, which is pro-rated based on the contract term. The following benefits will be available on an annual basis: University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program. Five (5) days of annual leave Specific Holidays Three (3) days of sick leave May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.) that are available to State employees. Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage. FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Men’s Wrestling Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Master’s degree and/or two years of collegiate coaching experience.
