What is needed for this job: At least 18 years old High school graduate or equivalent Or enrolled in a minimum of 2 years of child development coursework approved by state licensing requirements Have experience workign with children, ages 4-5 year olds Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and experience working with children Must be available throught Labor Day weekend The responsibilities we will trust you with: Supervise campers and activity implementation Ensure all campers can participate in all activities, no matter varied abilities whether physical, or intellectual.
Actively participate in activities to encourage participation Ensure appropriate behavior of campers and staff to avoid the risk of accidents Assist in maintaining effective communication with parents/guardians regarding camper and camp activities Embody the GPY commitment to diversity and inclusion, no matter race, color, creed, or gender identification What you can expect: Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectations Opportunities to learn and grow Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger Great members to work with every day!
