Lead K-6 children in a licensed before and after school program by creating a safe, welcoming environment. Facilitate engaging activities and games that foster social-emotional skills, curiosity, and confidence.

  • Leader, you will: Lead a group of K-6 children in our licensed before and after school Y Club program, creating a safe and welcoming environment. Lead fun, engaging games and activities that build social-emotional skills, foster friendships, and spark curiosity. Inspire confidence and leadership by encouraging children to try new things, solve problems, and discover what they're capable of. Possible opportunities available in elementary schools and Y branches in Alliance, Northwest, Canton City, Jackson, North Canton, Lake (Hartville/Uniontown), Louisville, Perry, Plain and Minerva school districts.

  • Rate: $12.35 /HR *Complimentary Y membership and discounted rates for child care and programs also included. Who Are We Looking For? Individuals who will... Serve as a professional role model for children grades K-6 by leading through example, encouraging healthy and safe behaviors and creating a positive experience while ensuring safety and proper supervision of all. Participate in and lead activities with students that include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social and emotional skills. Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child. Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and supporting children as they grow and learn. Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.
