Patrick School in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a full-time teacher’s aide for its 2026-2027 school year.
A teacher’s aide’s primary role is to offer students an extra level of support and guidance inside and outside of the classroom.
This position will work one-on-one with the classroom teacher and students in our school.
This position will report to the principal.
Assist with instructional support: This includes working one-on-one with students, preparing classroom materials and others as needed. Implement activities planned by the classroom teacher. Assist the classroom teacher in planning and preparation Work with students individually or in small groups. Provide for students’ social and emotional needs through respite activities. Attend and participate in professional learning activities as assigned. Encouraging positive peer interactions and social-emotional development Promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging Empowering students to engage in classroom activities Complete other assigned tasks.
Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree preferred. Experience working with children in a classroom setting Patience, flexibility, positive attitude Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
