The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-old children according to GSRP grant requirements. This includes implementing approved curricula, conducting child assessments, and collaborating with classroom teams and families.
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans

The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
