High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Job Description

Assist with dental operatory set-up: assist chairside as needed: Duties to include; operatory set-up with supplies, paperwork/chart. Order and maintain inventory for the Student Clinic. Backup for Student Clinic receptionist as needed and other duties as assigned. Duties to include; answer phone, and maintain needed paperwork for patients to be seen in the clinic. Cross coverage assisting in Grad OS/CID as needed during staffing shortages. Expected Salary:

$17.00 - $20.00, commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications

High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred

Knowledge of and ability to prepare, sterilize, maintain oral surgery instruments and equipment.

Ability to keep the oral surgery student clinic running smoothly and on a timely basis.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to independently plan, organize and perform work assignments.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, students, residents and faculty.
