Market context

Indiana CPE resident roles are selective

In Indiana, Clinical Pastoral Education resident roles are typically tied to hospitals and other care settings that need chaplain support and training. These positions are competitive because employers often prefer ACPE accreditation, ordination, and several years of experience, while a bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement and a master’s in Theology or Spirituality is preferred. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your clinical education fit and prepare examples of supervised pastoral care.
