Key Responsibilities Delivered small-group and one-on-one instruction to reinforce classroom lessons in reading, writing, mathematics, and other core subjects. Collaborated with classroom teachers to implement differentiated instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs. Supported students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and intervention strategies as directed. Monitored student progress, documented academic and behavioral performance, and communicated observations with teachers and support staff. Assisted in implementing classroom management strategies and promoting positive student behavior. Prepared instructional materials, learning activities, and classroom resources to support daily instruction. Supervised students during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and school activities. Fostered a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encouraged student participation and independence. Communicated effectively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families regarding student progress when appropriate. Participated in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives to support student success. These responsibilities are commonly associated with instructional support teacher roles in K–12 schools.
