About the Role

Limitless Endeavors is looking for a passionate and dedicated Academic Tutor to join our team in Washington, DC! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives by providing personalized academic support and helping them reach their full potential. If you love learning and inspiring others, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions across a variety of subjects and grade levels Assess individual student needs and develop customized learning plans to address academic gaps Track and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development Create engaging and interactive learning materials to support comprehension and retention Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and academic milestones

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, a subject-specific field, or related discipline preferred Active teacher's certification Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of core academic subjects such as math, reading, writing, or science Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and needs Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with strong time management skills Passion for education, youth development, and community impact About Us: Limitless Endeavors is a Washington, DC-based organization committed to empowering students and unlocking their academic and personal potential.
