What You’ll Do Instruction & Student Achievement Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction using Performance Academies' curriculum and instructional resources. Plan and implement lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of students through differentiation and data-informed instruction. Monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction to promote academic growth. Create meaningful learning experiences that foster critical thinking, inquiry, and student engagement. Maintain high academic expectations while supporting students in reaching ambitious learning goals. Promote regular student attendance through engaging instruction and positive communication with students and families. Classroom Culture Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive. Implement school-wide behavior expectations, character education, and positive behavior supports consistently. Build strong relationships with students while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth. Ensure the safety and well-being of students by following all school policies and child protection procedures. Family Engagement Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and school leaders to improve student outcomes. Participate in parent conferences, intervention meetings, IEP/IAT meetings, and other student support processes. Contribute to school-wide events, enrollment efforts, and community engagement activities. Professional Responsibilities Participate in ongoing professional learning and school-based meetings. Maintain accurate student records, classroom documentation, and instructional materials. Uphold the mission, values, policies, and professional expectations of Performance Academies. Perform other duties that support the success of students and the school community.
