Under the supervision of the Principal, the selected candidate is responsible for playing a key role in fulfillment of St. John Vianney Catholic School’s mission of Catholic education by teaching the 3rd grade class at St. John Vianney Catholic School temporarily during the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.
This Long-Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for accomplishing the duties and responsibilities of the third grade teacher during this temporary period until the teacher returns to the school. These include but are not limited to lesson planning, classroom instruction, grading, parent communication, effective classroom management; cooperation with school, parish, and diocesan administration; and professional conduct in accord with those virtues which the school seeks to form and to inspire in its students.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required. Active Tennessee teaching license and/or Catholic educator credential, and 2-5 years of prior teaching experience preferred.
