  • Duties/Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Provides supervision and instruction to students with special needs Supervise students with special needs during lunch Provide consistent communication to the Directors regarding students Provide guidance and support to students in a positive manner May be required to teach small groups of students

  • Skills/Abilities: Must work well under pressure and have the ability to diffuse highly emotional situations Experience in

  • Education/Experience: Earned an Associates Degree OR Earned 48 college credit hours OR Successfully completing a basic academic skills (parapro) exam within the first week of hire Opportunities to move into other positions in the school and in the special education department.

Salary

$16.00 per hour

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate's degree, 48 college credit hours, or pass a paraprofessional exam. Experience in Special Education is desired, along with the ability to handle emotional situations under pressure.
