Child Care Center Teacher

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the coordinator. Plan and carry our activities which are developmentally appropriate to the children they are working with. Meeting the educational as well as physical needs of each individual child. Assist in maintaining a safe environment through observation of appropriate equipment for children’s developmental skills. Provides input for conferences with parents to discuss child's progress as well as any issues that arise. Observe, record, and report individual and child’s behavior as assigned.

• Have: Credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications Minimum two year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center’s policies and philosophy Must be physically able to see and hear on-going activities of the children and able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14-16. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
