The Preschool Aide provides daily assistance to classroom teachers by supervising children and managing drop-off and pickup times. They are also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Montessori prepared environment to ensure it is safe and aesthetically pleasing.

The Preschool Aide position provides assistance to the classroom teachers during the day.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
1.
Supervise children in the classroom 2.
Assist with supervision of children during drop off/pickup time.
3.
Assist with the clean up and maintenance of the Montessori prepared environment.
This includes but is not limited to cleaning, sweeping, dusting, moving furniture, and other chores necessary so that the environment is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for the children.
4.
All other duties, as required.

1. Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of employment. 2. Must be capable of bending, reaching, and running. 3. Must be capable of moving furniture and arranging classroom activities. 4. Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods of time.
