Working from your home office within the state of Nevada, the Special Education Teacher will provide support for students with special needs through use of the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools. He/she consults regularly with learning coaches, general education teachers and students to provide the support needed to make progress on IEP goals. The Special Education Teacher will participate in all steps of the IEP process to ensure that the child’s IEP is in compliance with federal and state regulations.
The anticipated starting salary for Nevada-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $40,000 per year with a 100% employer-funded pension, or a starting salary of $47,000 per year with 50/50 employer/employee pension contribution.
