Enrichment Instructor (Homeschool Program) - Hernando County

• Shift: Mid day shifts
• Monday through Friday program for homeschool youth ages 6-12.
• Must be at least 16 years old and demonstrate the ability to teach a safe and effective class.
• Prior experience in specialty preferred.
• Must be able to articulate and communicate effectively while instructing participants & have a positive attitude and ability to work independently.

• REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability and patience to instruct classes while using effective communication and human relation skills. Must have the ability to conduct, demonstrate and safely lead a classroom of adults and or children.

• DUTIES: 1. Follows the YMCA of the USA teaching guidelines. 2. *Responsible for delivery of instructional content of class. 3. Create a nurturing and safe environment by reporting suspicious activity that may lead to child abuse or may violate the code of conduct. Keep supplies organized, maintain and clean facility and care for equipment. 4. Takes responsibility for certain housekeeping duties 5. *Exercises sound judgment in relationship to class safety. Follows all emergency procedures 6. *Engages in positive public relations with members 7. *Attend all staff meetings, in-house trainings, demonstrations and special promotions as designated by supervisor. 8.
