Do you enjoy variety in your day and feel confident working with children of all ages? We're looking for a dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Floater Teacher to support classrooms throughout our center, serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

As a Floater Teacher, you'll be an essential part of our team, stepping into different classrooms as needed to support children, teachers, and daily operations. One day you may be helping infants reach developmental milestones, while the next you may be assisting preschoolers with school-readiness activities. Your flexibility, positive attitude, and ability to build relationships quickly will help ensure every classroom receives the support it needs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple age groups, thrives in a dynamic environment, and understands that the needs of the center may vary from day to day.

What You'll Do

Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs as assigned Assist with implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning activities Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Help maintain safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and state licensing requirements Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain quality care and appropriate staffing levels Support teachers and leadership in ensuring smooth daily operations What We're Looking For

Experience working with young children is preferred Comfort and confidence working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old Flexibility to support multiple classrooms and age groups throughout the day Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, classroom assignments, and staffing needs Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Dependable attendance and reliability Early Childhood Education coursework or related experience is a plus Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification A patient, nurturing, energetic, and professional approach to working with children Why You'll Love Working Here
