• Category: OTRS IneligiblePosition Overview This is a regular student labor position in which the selected candidate will assist the Head Softball Coach with the coordination, guidance, direction and supervision of the women's soccer program. Hours per Week 5-25 hours per week. Working nights, weekends, and holidays is ap possible function of this position. College/Department Overview The Athletics Department at the University of Central Oklahoma currently supports over 400 student athletes in 15 NCAA Division II sports including Football, Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Golf, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Women's Track & Field (Indoor & Outdoor) and Cross Country, Women's Tennis, Women's Soccer, Women's Rowing and Women's Volleyball. Department Specific Job Functions The selected candidate will assist the Head Softball Coach with the coordination, guidance, direction and supervision of the women's soccer program. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to recruiting coordination; coaching student-athletes; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; game management; budget; administrative duties and travel.

• Fall/Spring
• Semesters: All student employees must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible to work any UCO student position. Half-time enrollment for fall/spring semesters is considered 5 hours for graduates and 6 hours for undergraduates. F1/J1 Visa students must be enrolled full-time to be eligible to work as a student employee. Full-time enrollment is 9 credit hours for graduates and 12 credit hours for undergraduates.
• Summer
• Semester: To work in a regular student position during the summer semester, students must be enrolled in at least 3 summer credit hours or be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in the minimum credit hours required for their classification and employment type. Students enrolled in fewer than 3 summer credit hours will be subject to FICA taxes during the summer term, which apply to both the student and the department. For Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) positions, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (graduate).
