About the role

Provide personalized one-on-one math tutoring to high school students in their homes. Support students with homework, test preparation, and the development of strong study habits.

Tutor Doctor is a locally owned tutoring company that has been serving families in our community for over 15 years. We provide personalized, one-to-one tutoring in students’ homes and help match tutors with students based on subject expertise, personality, and availability. We are currently seeking experienced math tutors who are comfortable supporting students in Algebra l/II, Pre-Calculus, and ideally up Calculus and Physics!

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in high school math subjects
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (or current college student majoring in a related field)
  • Reliable transportation to travel to students in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas
