JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Scranton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part Time Assistant Men's Soccer Coach within the Department of Athletics.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Practice preparation Player development Game day coaching Recruiting Supervising both player personnel under the head coach Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in the sport of soccer with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season This position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA and NCAA Division III rules. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
