To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED.
Previous childcare experience a plus!

Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Ability to communicate positively and in a confidential manner by providing positive feedback and encouragement to administration, staff, children, and parents.
Be open to receiving constructive criticism.
Willingness to receive and implement training in child development, Montessori philosophy, Love and Logic, and adhere to all state regulations pertaining to care and supervision of children.
Assist Lead Teacher in daily record keeping, including daily progress reports and observations.
Help to build positive relationships with parents and their children by respecting cultural differences.
Assist in setting behavior standards and use positive behavior management techniques that are age appropriate by modeling behavior for children.
Aide in maintaining the classroom environment indoors and outdoors and ensure the environment is safe, nurturing, healthy and stimulating for young children.
Follow security procedures at all times.
Immediately report any suspicion of abuse or neglect, illness, accident or distress concerning the children, families, colleagues or self to the Director.
Participates in on-going professional development activities and state required trainings.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Clear and strong communication skills are required.
Understanding all policies and procedures.
