  • Range: $62,400.00 - $85,000.00 SalarySchool-Based Mental Health Therapist/Clinical Trainee Crookston Secondary (Grades 6-12) We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School-Based Mental Health Therapist or Clinical Trainee to join our team in Crookston, Minnesota. This rewarding position provides mental health services to students in grades 6-12 in Crookston School district, helping children and families build emotional well-being, resilience, and success both in school and at home. Clinical trainees are encouraged to apply. Alluma provides clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to support growth toward independent licensure. As a member of Alluma's school-based mental health team, you will collaborate with experienced clinicians, school staff, and families to provide high-quality, accessible mental health care within the school setting. You will play an important role in helping elementary-aged students develop the skills they need to understand, manage, and overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group mental health therapy services to middle and high school-aged students. Engage families in treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and administration to support student success. Develop and implement interventions focused on early identification, prevention, and treatment of mental health concerns. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, payer, and licensing requirements. Participate in consultation, supervision, and professional development activities. Why Join Alluma? Qualifications Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy Certification, licensure, or registration with the clinical discipline Unrestricted independent licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT in Minnesota Unrestricted independent licensure as a North Dakota LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT is preferred Training or certification DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR preferred Must pass a criminal background check

Requirements

Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Must hold or be eligible for licensure (LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT) in Minnesota and pass a criminal background check.
