About the Role

  • Hello, Gifted & Talented Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Gifted & Talented Teacher to support students in Thornton, CO. In this role, you'll provide engaging, rigorous instruction that challenges advanced learners while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth. You'll collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to identify gifted students, develop individualized learning plans, and create meaningful opportunities for students to reach their full potential. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about enriching instruction, differentiating learning experiences, and helping gifted students thrive in a rigorous academic environment.   • + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You'll Do Screen and evaluate students for Gifted & Talented identification Develop, implement, and annually update Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs) for identified gifted students Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that challenges gifted learners Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning materials to meet individual student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers to enrich and extend curriculum across content areas Co-plan and support differentiated instruction with Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies teachers Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction and support growth Partner with students, families, and school staff to promote student success Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional development What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License Gifted & Talented Endorsement required Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred) Strong collaboration, communication, and instructional planning skills School-based teaching experience preferred, but not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with a Gifted & Talented Endorsement and a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree and school-based teaching experience are preferred.
