The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is looking for a Full-time instructor to join our KidMotion gymnastics team! An instructor is needed to teach classes built upon gymnastics principles. The KidMotion program is designed for kids of all ages and abilities to develop their social skills, creativity, strength, endurance, coordination and confidence through fun age-appropriate activities. Students will be placed in groups according to age and skill level. Position Qualifications Previous experience with personal training, athletic training, special needs or physical therapy is preferred, though not required. 3-4 years experience Preferred age of applicant is 18 years or older 1+ years gymnastics instruction experience or practical knowledge. Membership with USA Gymnastics is a plus Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and organizational skills Required Skills Must be friendly, compassionate, energetic, organized, self-driven, independent learner and team oriented. What level of Gymnastics experience do you have? How many years and what location did you use this experience? Do you have any child related experience like babysitting or teaching? Wage Range: $15 - $26/hr based on experience Physical Demands Moderate physical demands may include, but not be limited: assistance with setup and breakdown of equipment, ability to transition on/off of the floor to interact with children, demonstrate basic exercises, and spot children while performing activities in the gym. Candidates should have 1+ years of gymnastics instruction experience and 3-4 years of general experience, preferably in athletic training or special needs. Membership with USA Gymnastics is considered a plus.
