In this role, you will collaborate with educators, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop and implement personalized learning plans that foster student achievement and independence. By utilizing differentiated instructional strategies, monitoring student growth, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders, you will help cultivate an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.
Full-time opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year. Teach 4th and 5th grade students receiving special education services. Foster an inclusive, positive, and student-centered classroom environment. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline, along with strong communication, collaboration, and classroom leadership skills. Experience supporting elementary-aged students is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement.
