Position Overview: The Primary Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth in primary students. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet individual needs, and building strong relationships with students and families. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or equivalent in Elementary Education (or related field)
- At least five years full-time teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master degree in Elementary Education (or related field)
- International and/or independent school experience
- International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) experience
- Certification in elementary education and/or related subject area
- Bilingual (or highly proficient) in English and either French or Spanish

- Support the implementation of the IB Primary Years Programme and execute all program requirements in support of authorization and evaluation
