What a Typical Day Looks Like As our Lead Teacher, you are the director of discovery.
You won't just be managing a room; you’ll be creating an environment where success is celebrated, and learning is an adventure.
Design the Adventure: Plan and execute engaging, curriculum-based lessons.
Nurture & Guide: Help toddlers master the big stuff: sharing, expressing emotions, communicating, playing fairly, and expanding their vocabularies.
Lead the Team: Provide leadership, guidance, and inspiration to assistant teachers and volunteers in your classroom.
Partner with Parents: Keep families in the loop on their child's incredible milestones, progress, and daily achievements.
Track the Growth: Observe, document, and assess each child's development.
Keep it Safe & Sound: Maintain a vigilant, safe, and loving environment ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed.

You have at least 2 years of experience in a childcare setting, with a specific soft spot for children age group (8 weeks–38 months).
You hold a CDA in Infant/Toddler (an Associate Degree is a major plus!).
