Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddler-aged children Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities Maintain accurate developmental records, daily logs, and attendance documentation Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community
High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, ECE degree, or coursework preferred Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for toddler-age children Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff Ability to pass a background screening and meet state childcare licensing requirements CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development About Us: Discovery Point - Seven Hills & Silverthorn is a trusted early childhood education center proudly serving families in Spring Hill, FL.
