Job Opening

The Malvern School is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Horsham. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.

Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.

Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.

An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.

An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Requirements

Candidates must hold either a bachelor's or associate's degree in early childhood education or a related human services field. Depending on the degree level, 1 to 3 years of experience working with children is required.
