The lifeguard will: Maintain a safe environment in the pool area to prevent accidents, injuries, and incidents. Uphold the highest safety standards. Enforce the aquatic and facility rules and policies. Perform water rescues as necessary. Perform first aid as necessary. Perform CPR as necessary. Be responsible for all scheduled hours and must find a substitute if unable to work. If the employee cannot secure a replacement, they are expected to cover the shift. Perform related duties as required.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding. Prior experience is preferred. The employee must be able to project their voice over the noise of the pool so that the swimmers can hear any necessary instructions. Salary and Hours Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week. Full Time/Part Time: Part time
