About the role

Elementary Long-Term Substitute Teacher: Kids Connection | Full-Time | Temporary

Kids Connection is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Elementary Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our team. This position serves as the primary classroom teacher for the duration of the assignment, providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment while ensuring continuity for students.

Responsibilities

include:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core elementary subjects.

Foster students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.

Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families.

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • California Teaching Credential preferred, but not required.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with elementary-aged children and building positive relationships.
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through Kids Connection) and successful background clearance required.

Requirements
